Star Wars Jedi: Survivor officially announced

Respawn Entertainment has finally announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to the surprise hit Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The sequel was officially revealed during the Star Wars Celebration event as we see Cal Kestis back in action.

Star War Jedi is one of the many worst kept secrets as the follow up to Respawn’s Star Wars game was mentioned in one of EA’s Financial conference calls as far as last year. The game is set five years after the events of the first game. The sequel is being developed for the current generation of consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available on PC and expected to launch sometime in 2023.

“For Jedi: Survivor, we are working in lockstep with Lucasfilm Games to build on the legacy of Jedi: Fallen Order. We’re leveraging advanced technology to create more dynamic Jedi combat and cinematic storytelling to expand on Cal’s story as he matures and survives during the dark times. We can’t wait to share more about the game with the world later this year.” said Respawn Entertainment director Stig Asmussen in a press release.
