New PS5 DualSense Controller Colors Will Hit The Philippines On June 10

Sony interactive Entertainment Singapore has announced that the two new colors of the PlayStation 5 DualSense Controller, Midnight Black and Cosmic Red, will be released in the Philippines on June 10, 2021.

These two color options of the PlayStation 5 controller was announced back in May and is the first batch of new colors officially released by Sony for the PS5 controller, giving players an alternative if you’re not keen with the basic white color that pairs with the console.

The Midnight Black, which features a different shade of black that wraps around the plan black found in the bottom portion of the controller, will cost PHP 3,990 when it goes on sale. The other new color, the Cosmic Red, is a tad bit more expensive as it will cost PHP 4,290.

PlayStation 5 still out of stock in the Philippines

Not much of a shocker here but the PlayStation 5 remains out of stock in the Philippines as local stores struggle to meet the demands of those willing to pick up a unit. Many stores have applied a first come first serve basis giving a short pre-order window (5 minutes) for customers to secure a copy, but it only requires around a second for stocks to go out of stock again.

The 5th Wave, as many stores have called it, is the 5th restock for the system and the restock is usually announced a day before the pre-order window opens. Most of these pre-order windows occur on a Friday, so if you’re still on the lookout to secure a unit, keep your eyes out for social media posts from your preferred local store on Thursdays.
