The upcoming JRPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which is set to launch on April 23, 2024, will be distributed by Taiwan-based Justdan International Co., Ltd. as they’ve secured distribution rights from 505 Games. Simply put, Justdan will be responsible for bringing the game to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, and Southeast Asia regions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

During the ID@Xbox digital event we attended, we were shown gameplay of an upcoming indie game that revolves around a vampire working modern-day jobs to make ends meet and fix up his run-down castle. 

During a closed ID@Xbox virtual presentation, we saw a gameplay presentation at the upcoming narrative-driven store simulator called InKONBINI, a game set in 1993 Japan where you run a local convenience store and learn the stories and lives of the store regulars.

During the ID@Xbox digital event we attended, we saw four indie titles, and one of them was Go Go Town! a cute-looking cozy town-building game with 4-player couch co-op at launch. This title is being developed by developer Prideful Sloth, which is currently just a 5-man team based in Australia.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was a joy to play from start to finish and is a title every FFVII fan should play as they’ve done an exceptional job at bringing to life the world outside Midgar. There are a lot of changes to the original, but they’re changes I find myself welcoming, as this has now been one of my favorite JRPG experiences in recent years.

With Princess Peach: Showtime!, Nintendo and GoodFeel essentially just kick-started a new franchise with a strong hook - a role-swapping mix of 2.75D action and episodic story-based levels with a comfy aesthetic. Though it’s a little on the short side, younger audiences, casual gamers, and fans of Princess Peach will find much to applaud.
