Call of Duty Vanguard is Call of Duty, nothing more, nothing less
The Call of Duty Vanguard beta went live last weekend and I gave this year’s entry a spin. Another year of playing Call of Duty the Call of Duty way. Another round of changes here and there that sadly doesn’t trigger any sense of excitement or thrill as we get closer to its November release.
New World Open Beta - it’s going to be rough for SEA players
After playing over 15 hours and thinking about it further once the open beta closed, I see New World’s potential to be the next big thing in the MMORPG genre, but I think it would be best to avoid New World for now.
Should you play Rainbow Six Siege in 2021?
Rainbow Six Siege is now on it’s sixth year. A competitive shooter that has remained unique to this day and continues to be a joy to play with friends casually, or sweat it out in it’s unforgiving Ranked game mode. Should you play it in 2021? Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know if you are a returning player or someone new to the game.
The Good And The Bad: Back 4 Blood Open Beta
I’ve played an unhealthy amount of Back 4 Blood’s Open Beta weekend and during it’s early access, giving me a clear picture on what to expect from the 4-player co-op survival shooter launching this October. And just like in any beta session, it’s not perfect, so here’s a list of the good and the bad from Turtle Rock Studios’ next shooter.
Don't Feel Bad After The Nintendo Switch OLED Announcement
Nintendo out of nowhere surprised the world with the announcement of the new Nintendo Switch OLED, a new version of their flagship console. But don’t feel bad if you picked up a Switch recently as it won’t greatly enhance your enjoyment of the games in the system.
Dead Space Still Plays Great In 2021
Recent Dead Space reports were enough for me to revisit the series and remember why I love returning to the shoes of Isaac Clarke and the horrors he had to face in a span of three games, keeping the hope alive that one day we might just get another game in the future. I’m currently halfway through the first game and to my surprise it remains a solid survival horror in 2021.
The Ubisoft Games I Was Hoping To See During E3 2021
Ubisoft kicked off the start of this year’s E3 2021 with their digital presentation Ubisoft Forward and it felt balanced as they covered their biggest intellectual properties but there were a few titles that were no-shows that I was hoping to see anything about these already announced games.
I Really Hate Chivalry 2’s Battlecry Button
Iron Banner Studios’ Chivalry 2 opened the floodgates last weekend with their open beta event going live with crossplay enabled, allowing players to play the 64-player medieval online game focused on melee combat on different platforms. I dumped hours on the game so far and I can’t take all the screaming from the battlecry button.

The Fighting Game Glossary is the perfect tool for new and returning players by providing detailed explanations of each term you’ll need to know about a fighting game.
I Can’t Stop Thinking About House Beneviento In Resident Evil Village
In Resident Evil Village, Ethan heads to House Beneviento and is probably one of the scariest levels ever created for a Resident Evil game, and I can’t stop thinking about it.
Outriders Game Freezes Are Discouraging Me To Reach Peak Endgame Content
People Can Fly’s Outriders has been out for exactly a week now and I've spent an unhealthy amount of time on the latest looter shooter and loving most of what it has to offer. I finished the campaign and while I'm still on the journey to reaching the last portion of it’s endgame content, I'm feeling discouraged, as I feel like I'm slamming my head against the wall every hour.
Should you play Genshin Impact? Raising the bar for Free-to-Play Games
At a glance, Genshin Impact may appear to be nothing more than a clone of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But the game does so much more so differently that it can stand on its own. More importantly, it raises the bar for what you can now expect from a free-to-play title.
