Livelock Review - Robots Be Crazy

Twin-stick shooters have become an acquired taste: a genre only sought after by those wanting to relive the glory days of games where you destroyed everything in sight, often in an isometric view and with your pals (or alone, if you so chose). Livelock is one of those games. Despite its linear character progression and bland storyline, I had a blast destroying all the corrupt machines that have taken over this post-apocalyptic world.

Abzû Review - Gone Swimming

From the first impressions of Abzû, announced at E3 2014, it was clear this wasn't going to be any sort of typical gaming experience. Review: Xenoblade Chronicles X

Who would have thought that the Xeno series, which began life as the beloved Xenogears on the PSX, would take so many forms throughout the years? Director Tetsuya Takahashi went on to create the developer Monolith Soft and the operatic Xenosaga trilogy for PS2, which he deemed a 'spiritual prequel' to Xenogears, before moving on to the highly acclaimed Wii JRPG, Xenoblade Chronicles.
