The high-fantasy extraction online RPG game Dark and Darker is now available through Early Access via the developer's official website or Chaf Games as the game is still not available through Steam as of this writing.

Will Dark and Darker ever come back on Steam?
The idea of Dark and Darker returning to the Steam platform is questionable as developer Ironmace is currently going through an ongoing lawsuit with publisher Nexon due to copyright infringement as the company alleges that Dark and Darker was built from assets of one of their projects only known as “P3”.
With the lawsuit still not resolved, and with Nexon filing a cease and desist and a DMCA takedown, don’t expect Dark and Darker to be available through Steam.
If there are any updates that lead to Dark and Darker returning to Steam, we will update this post accordingly.
It’s actually a big surprise that Ironmace was able to work on the project with a lawsuit looming above them as they’ve conducted two more playtests after leaving Steam through unconventional means (players had to torrent the game client).
If you can’t wait and is willing to play the game now, you can purchase either the standard version of the game for $35 or $50 for the Founder’s Edition (for bonus cosmetics) to play the Early Access version of the game.
Dark and Darker has been updated with a good amount of new content since it left Steam as the game now has the Warlock and Bard class, a solo-only dungeon map that features a Troll boss, UI improvements, and more.
It’s easy to describe Animal Well as a puzzle-focused Metroidvania eschewing traditional combat, where nearly every room is a puzzle room, but that falls so far short of describing just what this game is and how expertly it defies genre and classification that it feels like a disservice. Animal Well is a paragon of the art form, a game that simply must be experienced.
