/ Carlos Hernandez
Trials of Mana, the third entry in the Mana series, received the remake treatment and is set to release on April 24, 2020 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
It’s a true remake as this version of Trials of Mana is equipped with a fully modernized graphics, remastered sound track, and a few extras to make it a tad bit more interesting to those that played the original.
The gameplay was also revamped, making it more of how action RPGs are played nowadays - jumping, dodging attacks, and doing combos.
Pre-order details
Pre-orders are now available and those that opt to buy the game digitally before release will receive an in-game bonus piece of gear called “Rabite Adornment”, which gives your character the ability to earn more experience until level 10. pre-orders will be available until April 23, 2020.
Those planning to play Trials of Mana on the PlayStation 4 gets an extra bonus if you buy it digitally through PS Store - A “Trials of Mana” avatar set.
For PC players on Steam, you get an background wallpaper as an added pre-order bonus, and will only apply to those that purchased the game by April 21, 2020.
Based on the PR provided by Square Enix, the digital and retail cost of Trial of Mana will cost PHP 2,699 (~$52) but didn’t specify for which platform or for what region as Steam’s pricing is based on where you are located.
So far, I’ve been loving my new console. It truly feels like a generational leap from the original Switch, even if its core concept remains the same.
