During Nintendo’s Nintendo Direct during E3 2021, they delivered on what everyone with a Switch has been asking for - more details or footage on the sequel to Breath of the Wild. A new trailer was released and it gives us a better idea on what to expect from the next game. It’s set to launch on the Switch in 2022.

At a glance, Genshin Impact may appear to be nothing more than a clone of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But the game does so much more so differently that it can stand on its own. More importantly, it raises the bar for what you can now expect from a free-to-play title.

The newest Legend of Zelda game has taken an interesting turn. Not only are we getting a new entry in the Hyrule Warriors series with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. But it's also coming in the form of a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Each Starter Pack bundles together a physical copy of a Switch game with a printed game guide and packages it in a cardboard sleeve.

In a nod to the very first Legend of Zelda, Nintendo ended up ditching the more linear, dungeon-focused formula of its previous 3D Zelda entries to prioritize a more Western “go anywhere, do anything” philosophy, which could easily have resulted in a Twilight Princess situation of too much empty space, but instead, through some miracle of game design, this radical change birthed one of the most high-quality virtual worlds I've ever experienced.
