This is an action-adventure game set after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Sega announced that the free DLC for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is now available to all players. Patch 1.18 has added a series of celebratory t-shirts that each playable character can wear in-game as it’s Ryu Ga Gotoku’s way of celebrating the JRPG reaching over 1 million sales worldwide back in February.

I took my time with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s latest entry in the long-running Yakuza franchise. The turned-based combat has greatly improved, the myriad of activities feel endless and entertaining, and the overall story left me teary-eyed and wanting more. I’m now more invested in the series than I ever was thanks to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth with Kasuga leading the charge.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name isn’t Ryu Ga Gotoku's best work, as combat feels bland and we’ve seen these side activities before, but this is a nice distraction for hardcore fans and a more touching and satisfying sendoff to Kazuma Kiryu as the leading man.

Sega released new information about Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s combat system as they made various changes such as characters moving during their turn, improved knockback attacks, expanded perfect attacks, and a Smackdown feature to quickly end battles against weaker enemies.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name has a series of activities and collectibles to distract players from the main story.
