Publisher Krafton, best known for publishing games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and the survival horror The Callisto Protocol, has acquired the Japanese studio Tango Gameworks as well as the intellectual property rights to their latest title Hi-Fi Rush from Microsoft Gaming.

As announced during Xbox’s special podcast episode covering Xbox’s business update, four games are coming to rival platforms: Grounded, Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, and Sea of Thieves. All four Xbox titles will be out on rival platforms sooner than expected.

I played the new Arcade Challenge Update for Hi-Fi Rush and found it a great addition to an already excellent game. Players that loved the game during their initial run will appreciate the opportunity to come back and challenge themselves in these modes, unlocking new rewards along the way.

Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have just updated their action rhythm game Hi-Fi Rush with the free Arcade Challenge update, giving all players that own the game two new challenging game modes, new enemies, new special attacks, and new unlockable rewards.

Hi-Fi Rush was a good start for 2023 as this was a masterfully-done rhythm action game that we have not seen or played before. It’s one of those gems that only come around once in a blue moon, and while I know 2023 just started, I would without a doubt put Tango Gamework’s latest work as a Game of the Year contender.
