Prince of Persia: Sands Of Time Remake Now Launching In 2022 And Will Skip E3 Ubisoft Forward

The team working on the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake announced that they are aiming to launch the game in 2022 and that we won’t be seeing it in the next Ubisoft Forward showcase during E3 2021.

The announcement was made through their official Twitter account as they are simply not ready to show more of the game at this point in time. And to think this was originally planned to come out on January 21, 2021, but due to heavy backlash it received because of how it looked, it has went from delayed indefinitely to release sometime in 2022.

Fans weren’t too thrilled when the game was revealed back in September. How it looked visually didn’t impress anyone, especially as it was considered a remake of 2003’s Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Have look at the reveal trailer below and see for yourself.

The trailer below has a higher dislike count than likes and the comments sections hasn’t been so kind to what they witnessed.

The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake is out but there’s a lot planned for the next Ubisoft Forward happening this weekend. We’ll be getting more details on Far Cry 6, our first look at Rainbow Six Extraction, and a lot more on June 12.
