Insider Claims Monster Hunter Wilds is planned for Early 2025

An insider that goes by the name ‘Dusk Golem’, who has a good track record of reporting accurate information about certain projects, is claiming that Capcom is planning to release Monster Hunter Wilds in the first quarter of 2025.

Information about the game was shared on their own Discord server (spotted by Reddit), saying this Wilds will be Capcom’s biggest game yet and that development started in 2019.

Wilds is said to be a fully open world and that “the entire game revolves around it, from story to endgame”. They also claim that “scrapped ideas from World are now here”, and that the director of the game and World, Yuya Tokuda, is given complete freedom on the project.

So far, Dusk Golem is reporting that development is having no problems so far and that they are still on track to releasing the game in early 2025, and that Capcom is “banking on this to carry the whole fiscal year,'“ even saying that GTA 6 won’t consider them to delay the title.

Monster Hunter Wilds was announced at the end of 2023 during the 2023 Video Game Awards with a 2025 release, but if this information comes out true, Capcom looks to start 2025 with a bang.

Capcom has yet to share new information to the public about the game in 2024.
