The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is Coming to Southeast Asia on June 18
Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and Square Enix announced that The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, will launch its physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in Southeast Asia on June 18, 2026. For those looking for digital copies, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions are now open for pre-orders too.
What Is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales?
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales revolves around Elliot and Faie as they travel around the world in a span of four distinct ages.
Combat is unique as it revolves around seven weapon types that is a mix of close-range swords, to chains and sickles. Each weapon is customizable through the game’s system called Magicite, adjust toward the player’s preferred playstyle. Faie then plays a support role as she complements Elliot with a range of magic that helps with exploration as she can clear a path or pick up unreachable items.
The visuals and presentation of this action RPG will look immediately familiar to fans of the Octopath Traveler series, and for good reason, as it comes from Team Asano and Claytechworks, which are best known for the JRPG series. It's a great showcase of what HD-2D can do, and one of the better ways to represent sprites in the current generation.
Thanks to the game’s demo currently available on the Switch 2, the developers applied quality of life improvements such as faster movement for Elliot, a refined weapon shortcut menu, and a more robust difficulty options.
Ahead of its June 18 release, here’s what’s available for pre-order and the different editions available for the game.
