The Inpatient Comes Out in November For The PS VR

The PS VR title The Inpatient, which was announced during this year's E3, will be released on November 22, 2017 for the PS4. Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES) also announced that the physical copy will have a suggested retail price of PHP 1,899 for those living in the Philippines.

The crazy thing about this title from Supermassive Games is that it's set 60 years before the events of their last horror game Until Dawn. The only direct connection we know that puts the two games together is where it all takes place. In The Inpatient, you play as a patient at the Blackwood Sanatorium, one of the places you explore during Until Dawn, only this time it's not in ruins. As the player, you get to relive this establishment when it was up and running, figuring out who you are and why you are here...but in VR.

Supermassive Games is a busy studio this year based on the announcements they've made during E3 2017. Not only do they have The Inpatient coming, they are also working on a narrative-driven game called Hidden Agenda that focuses on player choice. They are also working on a shooter called Bravo Team for the PS VR. All of the projects mentioned are exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
