Secret Of Mana Remake Announced For PS4, Vita, and Steam

A full 3D remake of the classic RPG Secret of Mana was just announced. Along with the announcement by Square Enix, "the beloved volume in the MANA series retains its long-held charm while incorporating improvements such as upgraded gameplay for modern platforms and a newly arranged musical score."

Secret of Mana was originally released in 1993 for the Super Nintendo, and it follows Randi, Primm and Popoi's journey as they battle a treacherous empire in order to reclaim the power of Mana.

For those keen in revisiting this classic, preorders will give players special character costumes: a "Moogle Suit" for Randio, Primm and Popoi, "Tiger Two-Piece" for Primm and "Tiger Suit" for Randi and Popoi.  For PS4 owners, preorders will also earn special PSN avatars. For those planning to preorder on Steam, you get a wallpaper together with the special costumes.

The Secret of Mana remake will be out on February 15, 2018 on the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Steam.
