Weekend, what are you playing?
Midway through August already? Time sure flies when you're playing video games. So, what are YOU playing this weekend?
Migoy: Me and Arlie will be out with a few college friends for the weekend and won't be back until Monday but I got Phat's (my fat PSP) with me to kill idle time with Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road on it as it's one of my 'kill time' games. Arlie went to one of our friend's house who just bought a copy of the new Mortal Kombat game so maybe they played a bit of that.
Quash:Had a huge Saturday. Joined Indestructible 2011, pretty much our biggest fighting game tournament in the Philippines for Super Street Fighter 4 : Arcade Edition, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Mortal Kombat with over 150+ players registered for all games. This event had players from different provinces to join Indestrucible 2011, so a big turnout indeed. While I was eliminated right away in Mortal Kombat(I suck), i was able to reach top 16 for both Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3. Though i fell short, I'm pleased with making it that far. Had so much fun and met a lot of awesome players.

Silent Hill HD Collection coming to Xbox 360 alongside PS3
Xbox 360 owners rejoice! Konami heard your rage filled screams and has announced at their press conference at Gamescom that the Silent Hill HD Collection will not be a PS3 exclusive anymore.
The HD Collection will be out the same on both platforms this fall.
Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Trailer......WITH JETS!
Gamescom 2011 gives us more videos to take in. Battlefield 3 makes an appearance revealing a new multiplayer trailer showing us how intense it can be throwing helicopters, explosions, tanks, and even jets into the mix. This is what Battlefield is all about.

Street Fighter X Tekken - Gamescom 2011 Trailer
Gamescom is booming with new trailers! Capcom just revealed a new trailer teaching us the unique features of the game and revealing new characters joining Street Fighter X Tekken.

Ibuki, Hugo, Yoshimitsu, Raven, pretty awesome additions, but sorry, Kuma just made me laugh. But I guess having no Kuma isn't really Tekken if you think about it. It's going to be fun playing around with Kuma.
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom - Dr. Strange and Nemesis
UMVC3 is at Gamescom 2011 showing footage of Dr. Strange and Nemesis in action. Trailer and gameplay have been revealed.

Dr. Strange seems pretty strong, with his teleports and beams. Nemesis, I'm not that impressed, seems too slow for my taste. I'm still shocked that Capcom wanted one more Resident Evil character in Marvel vs Capcom.
