Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Attract trailer reveals the final boss

Playstation All-Stars battle Royale has now gone gold people. To celebrate the game going gold and to say "thank you" to the fans, Sony released the opening cinematic of the game which reveals character rivals and a final boss that I never knew existed in Playstation history. Check the trailer below.

If you're wondering about that hidden floating head towards the end, yes that's the last boss of the game. His name is Polygon Man,the promotional mascot of Playstation that got cut even before the console even came out. Apparently, negative reactions over at Sony quickly scrapped the mascot and we never heard from him again... until now.

Polygon man

This is the first time I heard about Polygon Man (Picture above). It's hard to believe that they were actually considering a mascot like that for Playstation. He has been hidden for years, but now he has resurface again to be the final boss for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Why has he come back to go against Playstation's most iconic characters? We'll have to wait and see when it comes out on November 21 on PS3 and on the PS Vita.

Bethesda says they are close on releasing DLC for PS3

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is nearly a year old and no DLC has been released yet for the Playstation 3. Bethesda has been having issues applying the DLC, but was able to release two of the three announced DLC on the Xbox 360 and PC. Now, Bethesda says they are 'close' on releasing the new content for Playstation 3.

The official Twitter of Bethesda tweeted the news to give fans hope that Hearthfire and Dawnguard will be coming soon soon. Bethesda has been having technical issues with adding the DLC to the PS3 version of the game and never got an ETA on when it will be released. With the Dawnguard DLC, Bethesda made a statement way back to give an update, and it didn't sound good.

Earlier in the month, we provided an update on Dawnguard's status for PS3.

It's been a few weeks, and we wanted to make sure everyone knows where we're at with Dawnguard. Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources, and things get much more complex when you're talking about sizable content like Dawnguard. We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone. The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're working hard to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.

We wish we had a more definitive answer right now. We understand the frustration when the same content is not available on all platforms. When we have an update, we will certainly let you know. We deeply appreciate all the time and support you have given us, and we’ll keep doing our best to return that.

Now, three DLC announced later, there's a bit of hope again. The latest DLC, Dragonborn, was just announced and hopefully Bethesda can get everything resolved before Dragonborn becomes available in other platforms.

Hitman Absolution - Living, Breathing World Trailer

With Assassin's Creed 3 now out, it's time to give attention the assassin that came even before  Altair. Hitman Absolution's latest trailer focuses on the rich environment that the players will experience. Life goes on in the world of Absolution, and Agent 47 can take advantage of the events that goes around him.

Hitman: Absolution hits stores on November 20 on Playstation3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Playstation Store redesigned, live right now

Just in case you didn't notice, the PS Store just got a major redesign update. I tried out the new layout and I like the new look. I never had an issue with the old design, but then again, they had that layout since the release of the online store. Guess the change was long overdue.

I've been tinkering it for quite a while now and it's definitely easier to navigate compared to the old one. Everything is neatly organized. They have also separated PS Vita and PSP content from PS3 content which is a big plus for me.

The search engine has been changed. When I was first playing around with it, I actually didn't get it at first, but as I got used to it, it was pretty easy to search through the store. What it does is when you enter the second letter in the search, the engine searches for all the possible content that start with the first two letters you added. As you add more letters, it eliminates the other letters that won't lead to any content on the store, leaving fewer letters to choose from but eventually getting closer to the content you are looking for, if it's there that is.

It looks like an entertainment for not only games but for music movies and apps, which I'm sure is what Sony was aiming for.

Give it a try right now and let us know what you think.

Bethesda teases fans with just a tweet

Bethesda announced today that a full trailer is coming on November 5.  This tease was tweeted by Bethesda that came withe picture above, and its pretty much anybody's guess to what this is. I'll put my money on a new Skyrim DLC though since it was recently rumored that dragon mount asset files were found on the latest Skyrim patch. That, and I highly doubt Bethesda is nowhere near done releasing DLC for Skyrim. What do you guys think?
