No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise Release Date (Finally) Set

August 16 is the date according to Konami's official press release. The enhanced port of the first No More Heroes game includes much more detailed graphics, PlayStation Move support, and bosses and other content plucked from No More Heroes 2. And in case you've forgotten, Heroes' Paradise is PS3-exclusive in America (the original Japanese version was also on Xbox 360).

PSN password-reset system compromised

Just a few days after the PSN restoration begun and already there is another problem surfacing.

From GameSpot;

Multiple sources report Web-based method for creating new login info can be hacked with a user's e-mail and date of birth.

What we heard: Just five days after the PlayStation Network started coming back online, reports are surfacing of a new security flaw with the online systems. Based on an initial article on gaming blog Nyleveia.com that was reportedly confirmed by NeoGAF users and Eurogamer, hackers have discovered a new, simple exploit to change PSN users' passwords.

The PSN's Web-based password reset service appears to have been compromised. The exploit is reportedly done via the Web pages Sony set up to facilitate the mandatory password changes required in the wake of the three-week PSN outage. All that is reportedly needed to perform the exploit is a PSN user's email account and date of birth, which is among the data that was reportedly stolen from all 77 million PSN and Qriocity users last month. The exploit reportedly does not affect those trying to change their passwords on the PlayStation 3 or PSP, both of which can still access the PSN.

The official story: Though Sony Computer Entertainment America reps had not commented as of press time, a moderator on the European PlayStation.com forums offered the following information:

"Hey Guys,

Please note that PSN sign in is currently unavailable for the following services:

PlayStation.com PlayStation forums PlayStation Blog Qriocity.com Music Unlimited via the web client All PlayStation game title websites Unfortunately this also means that those who are still trying to change their password via Playstation.com or Qriocity.com will be unable to do so for the time being. This is due to essential maintenance and at present it is unclear how long this will take.

In the meantime you will still be able to sign into PSN via your PlayStation 3 and PSP devices to connect to game services and view Trophy/Friends information."

Bogus or not bogus?: Not bogus that the PSN password reset page that PlayStation.com directs users to is "currently down for maintenance."

Meanwhile, Nyleveia.com has reportedly performed the exploit multiple times with multiple volunteers' PSN accounts. Several websites have also posted detailed instructions on how to perform the exploit, so this also looks not bogus.

Weekend, what are you playing?

We are half way though May, new game releases are afoot but I'm sure most of you have a game or two to beat. So what are you playing?

Migoy: My Duodecim save got corrupted. My cousins were playing multiplayer and one of em had my PSP, the battery died right after a fight (where the game auto saves) so fuck it, gonna fully import my old Dissidia game keeping my old characters at maxed out at level 100. Aside from Dissidia Duodecim despair I feel a strong urge to play Final Fantasy Tactics (PSP) from square one. Also I've got an eye on another SquareEnix Game, Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection. Lotsa RPGs on my list. Gonna be a long day.

Quash: This weekend is still Mass Effect 2 for me. Working on my save file in my PS3 so that I can use that save for Mass Effect 3. In the main story I'm suppose to get the IFF but I'm focusing on all possible loyalty missions at this point and side quests before continuing. My goal is no one dead on the Suicide Mission, Max Paragon and mostly all important side quests done.  Oh! i also played some Diablo 2 co-op with a friend last friday. Currently on Act 2 with a level 18 Sorceress. This has to be my 4th Sorceress in that game, favorite class? yep. I've already decided to be a Wizard for Diablo 3.

Arlie: I've been exploring the Province of Cyrodiil this weekend. Yes, I'm playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for PC using my Female Nord Knight named "Arya Stark" (from Game of Thrones). I already finished the faction quests for the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, Knights of the Nine and I am already halfway on the Dark Brotherhood quests (I already have my loyal steed, Shadowmere). As some of you might know, I've been streaming my TES IV: Oblivion gaming session live on our JTV channel. You can watch my previous game sessions archived there so please feel free to visit anytime, you might catch me or anyone of us play live and chat with us while we do fucked up shit like the video shown below.

I also played Brink, but I haven't tried multiplayer yet and the AI is just plain suck (could literally go around an AI enemy, clueless mofos). I already finished the Resistance campaign and already started with Security campaign. Overall, I like the game (it reminded me of Team Fortress 2) with better gameplay (PARKOUR BABYYYY!) and I might enjoy playing it online. You can also watch my Brink gaming sessions on our JTV channel.

FAQ for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition in Console

SSF4: Arcade Edition is hitting consoles on June and I'm sure everybody has questions. What happens to my BB or PP online? can i fight people with the new DLC? can I fight the new characters even if I don't have the DLC? well here's a FAQ I found to give you all the info you need about Arcade Edition in Console.

It's a great FAQ and pretty much all your answers about the DLC if you had any. The people at Capcom-Unity did a good job at bringing this info together just in case there will be confusion when the DLC hits on June 7.

Just in case you missed the link above, here's one more link to the FAQ.
