Mass Effect 2's "Arrival" DLC Trailer

Mass Effect 2's final Downloadable Content called "Arrival" will be out on March 29, 2011 for PC, PSN and Xbox live. If you're wondering what the last piece of Mass Effect 2 will bring you, Bioware just released a trailer to give us an idea on what to expect.

This last DLC will pretty much set the stage for Mass Effect 3. Shepard is tasked to find and free a doctor who has evidence of a Reaper Invasion. This trailer gave me the chills and another playthrough of Mass Effect 2 is in order. Enjoy.

Meat Boy Sighting

If there is an anime convention, there will be cosplayers. If there is a game convention, there will be cosplayers. Many a nerd dressing up as their favorite anime / video game / comic book characters. From Final Fantasy's Cloud to Gundams and even Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters. But here we have a cosplayer for my indie game of 2010, Super Meat Boy. Its simple yet so hilariously awesome at the same time. Brilliant. I remember having the same reaction when I saw this guy.

Nidhogg

Chances are you haven't heard of this game but in a nutshell it is basically a 2 player 2D Prince of Persia wherein you fight over the priority of the screen and try to get to the opposite end. If I try to explain it now, this post might be as long as a review so instead I'll just show you videos of its gameplay.

From what I've heard, this can be played on a single keyboard so have fun yelling at your friends when you steal victory from their sweaty palms.

So Duke Nukem Forever got delayed... lol

Hilarious news, it has been announced that Duke Nukem Forever will not make its intended release date of May 3. De ja vu anyone? But don't fear, Gearbox is still saying that this is a real game and not some kind of decade long troll. The date has been moved to June 14 in North Amerca and June 10 for the rest of the world.

To make up for it, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford has given us this hilarious video.

River City Ransom 2 in the works

One of the all-time classics, especially in the beat-em-up genre, River City Ransom is getting a long belated sequel. 20 years in the making, River City Ransom 2 is being developed by Miracle Kidz, the studio which houses most of the original’s developers. The game is expected to release on console sometime this summer in Japan, with a PC release coming next year. No word yet on any game details or specific consoles, but another of Miracle Kidz retro-style games (Downtown Smash Dodgeball) is on the Xbox Live Arcade and Wii Ware, leading most to believe such platforms are equally likely for River City Ransom 2.
