Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Bound Together

So I finally decided to start a video series of me and Bud playing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 online and I think the title "Bound Together" is perfect for the title.

If you've played Tekken 6 or Tekken Tag Tournament 2 then you'd know about the Bound mechanic which let's you ground bounce your opponent once during a combo string. The bound mechanic gets expanded upon in Tag 2 by incorporating the whole "Tag Assault" mechanic so on and so forth. The title fits because there is no way that we are playing this alone. At least for the most part. We will try to rank up using the game's pair play method where we each control a character in our tag team. This, of course, changes how one plays the game drastically as you are working with another person and have no control over their actions on screen aside from hard-tagging and initiating a tag assault or tag crash.

Doing pair play online may not be the best way to rank up in Tekken but if we won't, who will? Join us on our quest to rank up in the world of Tekken Tag Tournament 2!

Going Old School #1: Fighting Force

If you grew up in the 90's then you'd know that the original PlayStation was one of the greatest things to happen in video game history. With Sony's first home console being a great hit, we were blessed with a ton of awesome games that enriched our gaming childhood. Migoy and Bud revisit the old console with their modern perspective and see if these old games still hold up.

Fighting Force wasn't a game I owned but my uncle opened up a netshop in our province so during our holidays over there, we got to play for free. Me and my cousin Bud played this 3D beat-em-up game called Fighting Force. We enjoyed the game but since we were still idiot kids back then, nostalgia might have tainted our memory if this game is actually holds up.

Anarchy Reigns Online Ranked

Anarchy Reigns finally came out so that means that I'll be able to find some matches online. Thought finding matches isn't exactly the cake walk I was hoping for, I was able to get in a few team matches and was able to try out one 16-man free for all battle royale.

There probably won't be a lot of these because, to be honest. As much as I love Anarchy Reigns, I doubt this will last in terms of online play. *sigh* If only this game had offline multiplayer.

God of War: Ascension Public Beta

The beta of the next God of War game is only available for PlayStation Plus members but became available to the public for a short time. I was only able to spend a night with the public beta but is more than enough for me to understand how Sony will pull off a multiplayer God of War game.

I was only able to reach up to level 4 so I didn't have the best equipment going into battle but could still hold my own as I learned the game.

Weekend! What are you playing?

It's the weekend again, but this time there are two new titles now out in the wild. Are you playing the brand spanking new Dante in DmC this weekend? Or maybe you are entering the world of Ni No Kuni for the first time later, or are you simply sticking with the usual to keep you sane after a long hard week. Heck, I know I am, what are you playing?

Carlos: I actually haven't got any new game this year. Most of my free time goes directly at Guild Wars 2. I'm currently leveling my Mesmer with friends and it's great revisiting the this game again. This weekend though, I might have to bench Guild Wars 2 to make space for Path of Exile. Its open beta just went live on January 23, so i'm planning to play that to experience the now added act 3 content.

Migoy: Gonna keep mine simple. I need to play more DmC. Been busy all week preparing stuff for our youtube channel so I haven't been able to play as much of the new Devil May Cry as I want. Hopefully this weekend will make up for it. As I'm writing this, the game is actually paused. Otaku Expo is happening this weekend and I'm planning on going. I heard there's gonna be some fighting game action.
