This is a Tetris game where you can find yourself playing for hours against other players, or just relax with the soothing melodies and visuals on any of the available game modes. Tetris Effect Connected made me appreciate this beloved classic and see it in a different light, and it’s hard to see anyone deliver a more captivating experience.

Despite a few missteps in pacing and polish, Cris Tales has the potential to become a classic for a new generation of RPG enthusiasts that appreciate the JRPG formula, with enough charm to wow anyone who treasures the tropes that defined a genre cherished by tens of millions.

Despite it’s short runtime, Bloodlines comes out as the better campaign, making it clear that a legion of operatives is less appealing compared to a fully fledged protagonist complete with a strong motivation and is surrounded by strong supporting characters.

Monika Toys is a collectible brand devoted to designing, developing and producing detailed high quality statues. First in their line of figures are 3 robots masters from the classic 8bit side-scroller, Mega Man 2. Those being Metal Man, Crash Man, and Air Man.

Returnal has a crazy sci-fi narrative, a roguelike gameplay loop tied into crazy bullet hell situations, making this a stressful but satisfying adventure that should appease PS5 owners looking for new experiences. It’s all so well-done, however, that even though one aspect of this game might be enough to turn you off completely, another could make this a game worth playing from start to finish.

Despite all of New Pokemon Snap’s quality-of-life improvements, its relaxing vibe, and decent presentation, however, it’s more of an evolution of the concept than a revolution, and soundly geared to younger audiences.

In more ways than one, NieR Replicant ver. 122474487139 is clearly the best and definitive way to experience the original NieR. All of the visual and mechanical changes are welcome and make the presentation of the game’s otherwise awkward sections a lot more palatable.

It’s a complete game straight out of the box. It’s very refreshing, as I didn’t feel the need to question what’s next for Outriders; while I can walk away from the experience happy I’ve accomplished all I set out to do, I can easily see myself revisiting this game again in the future with another character to repeat the process all over again.

While the feeling of scale in Monster Hunter Rise isn't as large as World, it wasn't something I immediately noticed until I took a look back. Rise isn’t as visually stunning and is currently a smaller overall package. But the core gameplay is so similar that I'm just happy to be playing a new entry in the series. It's an incredible game that I can easily recommend to hunters both new and old.

Persona 5 Strikers is easier to swallow compared to the long-winded original. The hack and slash, Dynasty Warriors-like combat felt more fitting for Persona 5 as a whole, and the Phantom Thieves are a cool bunch that it wouldn’t be so bad if Atlus stretches out more adventures in the future.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious title that many revered as genre-defining, but that’s not the case here at all. What we have here is a world oozing with potential, but one that drowned itself in its own expectation and hype. It has great stories to experience, and I had fun with the gameplay loop of going from gig to gig and shooting bad guys scattered around every dark alley of Night City, but that can only bring you so far depending on how tolerable you’ll need to be to fully enjoy the game.
