Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that their global Days of Play sale this year will begin starting June 2, 2023, and will run until June 12. Square Enix has announced that Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, a video game based on the popular anime called Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, will be launching worldwide on September 28, 2023 (with a Steam version releasing on September 29). Digital pre-orders are now available on various platforms.

Destiny 2 is now on its 21st season with Season of the Deep, and it features seasonal Taken weapons that are craftable once you earn enough Deepsight Resonance for any of the weapons available. Developer Daedalic Entertainment released their latest game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum last week on May 25, 2023, and is currently one of the lowest-scored titles on Metacritic this year as it stands with a Metacritic score of around 36 with a user reviews score of around 1.4. With the current reception this game is receiving, the developers issued an apology for the current state of the game.

THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive revealed during the Alone in the Dark reboot’s spotlight event revealed that the game will launch on October 25, 2023. There is also a playable prologue demo that sets up the player for the main game and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Ubisoft appeared at PlayStation’s big May 2023 Showcase revealing Assassin’s Creed Mirage gameplay for the first time, highlighting that the next entry is going back to the series roots as the title has more emphasis on stealth and assassination compared to being an action RPG, like previous titles.

During the big PlayStation Showcase, Bungie revealed their newest title called Marathon an extraction shooter set in the same universe as the Marathon trilogy that Bungie worked on for the Mac back in the 90s.

Helldivers 2, the sequel to the crazy isometric co-op shooter release in 2015, is coming later this year with a change of perspective as it’s now a third-person shooter that can be played with up to four players, with friendly fire still off.

Sony Interactive Entertainment started their big PlayStation Showcase for May 2023 with the reveal of Haven Studios’ new IP called Fairgame$, released on PlayStation 5 and PC. It is described as a “modern-day robin hood kind of heist game.

During the big PlayStation showcase in May, Remedy Entertainment revealed our first look at gameplay for the upcoming horror game Alan Wake 2. The horror thriller will be out on October 17, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The sequel will only release digitally as there’s no plans for a physical copy of the game.
