Tears of the Kingdom accomplishes its lofty goals, improving upon the masterful Breath of the Wild in nearly every key aspect; Tears may not be my favorite Zelda, but for millions of fans, it might be one of the greatest gaming experiences of their lives.

Nintendo concluded their February 2023 Nintendo Direct showcase with the second trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It is also confirmed that the sequel will cost $69.99 when it launches on May 12, marking it the first title in the series to be priced at that range.

The sequel to the highly successful The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is officially titled The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. During the September 2022 Nintendo Direct, we were given a new gameplay video showing not only the new title for the sequel but a release date - May 12, 2023.
