Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – Mask of Darkness DLC Now Available
Ubisoft's Mask of Darkness DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now available and introduces four new biomes, ten traversal obstacles like lasers and teleportation portals, six new enemy types, and three epic bosses. Players will also gain three powerful amulets to enhance their combat abilities. Available as a standalone or in the Complete Edition on all platforms.

During the 2024 Ubisoft Forward broadcast, Ubisoft confirmed the long-awaited release date for the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake. Initially announced in 2020 and pushed back due to negative feedback from players during the reveal, this highly anticipated title is now slated for a 2026 launch.

Ubisoft revealed that they are supporting their platformer Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown through the rest of 2024 with post-launch content as the game’s roadmap shows three free major content drops and a story DLC to be release later this year.

If you’re a fan of the Metroidvania genre, or action platforming games in general, I couldn’t recommend Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown more. The Lost Crown nimbly juggles combat, character progression, platforming, exploration, environmental puzzle-solving, boss encounters, and storytelling, all without neglecting one element to the detriment of another.
