Humanoid Origin, founded by Mass Effect trilogy director Casey Hudson, has announced its closure due to funding challenges. The studio, known for its ambitious plans to develop a new science-fiction universe, shared the heartbreaking news via LinkedIn, thanking its team and supporters while committing to helping staff transition to new opportunities.

The sci-fi RPG Mass Effect Legendary, the trilogy’s remastered edition, has gone gold over at BioWare and is all set for it’s May 14, 2021 launch.

EA and BioWare has released a reveal trailer to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy (Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3) and it will be available on May 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This version of the game will also be playable through PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

The Game Awards 2020 have concluded and the last World Premiere reveal was a tease to the next chapter in BioWare’s Mass Effect.
