These Are The Top Games Coming Out This Week (October 16-22, 2017)

The video game season is getting warmer and warmer as we approach some hotter releases. This week we see the return of a beloved PlayStation stalwart, an update to an old classic and at long last, the arrival of a frequently delayed sequel.

Gran Turismo Sport (October 17 | PlayStation 4)

The name that has become synonymous with realistic racing on the PlayStation finally returns after years in the making. Gran Turismo Sport is the first game in the Gran Turismo series to appear on the PlayStation 4. We haven’t seen GT since the last generation when Gran Turismo 6 released in 2013.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole (October 17 | PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4)

Following up on the success of 2014’s Stick of Truth, this RPG sees the foul-mouthed kids of Colorado sends up superheroes and franchise culture by pitting Cartman’s Coon and Friends against the Freedom Pals led by Kenny.

WWE 2K18 (October 17 | Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC)

The latest WWE game will supply a huge ass roster of 220 wrestlers and managers, but of course, creating your own wrestler will still be an option. Seth Rollins makes the cover this time. A Nintendo Switch version is said to be coming, but we still don’t have an exact date.

Jackbox Party Pack 4 (October 17 | PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

This annual collection of living room party games from the people who brought you You Don’t Know Jack returns for its fourth installment. New games include “Survive the Internet,” “Monster Seeking Monster,” “Civic Doodle,” and “Bracketeering.”

Fire Emblem Warriors (October 20 | Nintendo Switch)


The first Switch entry of the beloved Fire Emblem series comes to you from the team behind Dynasty Warriors. But instead of pitting historical Chinese figures against one another, you’ll take control of characters like Marth, Xander and Corrin as you wage intense battles.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 2 (October 19 | PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One)

The prequel to the cult hit Life is Strange, Before the Storm sees deuteragonist Chloe take center stage. In the upcoming episode, a new friendship blossom as Chloe’s family crumbles. But before she can run away with her new friend, Chloe discovers an ugly side of Arcadia Bay.
