Retro Sonic and Modern Sonic Together? [Update] Video

SEGA has just posted on a teaser for a new Sonic game that can only be seen on Facebook. It seems to hint at a new game that has the modern and classic Sonics in one game. It is said that this game will be coming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year.

This maybe the new Sonic Generations game for which SEGA has recently reserved a domain name. This may also be what was once called Sonic Anniversary which was a game that contained remakes of old Sonic levels from the classic titles.

PlayStation Move Sharp Shooter Walkthrough

Here we have Ken Inagaki, Senior Staff Producer at Sony, showing us how the PS Move works with their first gun peripheral the Sharp Shooter for SOCOM 4. The Sharp Shooter has buttons layed out around it for easy access in conjunction with the many moves you can pull off in the game such as using the scope, throwing grenades, and pump action reload which everyone loves.

Now you may think that it look very similar to Nintendo's WiiZapper but the problem that plagued the Wii was there were too many plastic accessories that would only work for 1 or 2 games. So you'd have a lot of white hollow plastic in the shape of guns, tennis rackets, hockey sticks and even bowling balls Sony claims that this new gun peripheral will work with many other titles and hopefully they won't follow the same cluttered closet road that happened with the Wii.

I wish the WiiZapper had a stock...

New Brink trailer shows off abilities

The new trailer for Brink gives us a taste of the abilities we can play around and exploit. Molotov Cocktail, Sticky grenades, Gatling gun turrets, and a lot more. This is a Bethesda game so i have high hopes for this FPS. If you don't know what Brink is, think Mirror's Edge or Assasin's Creed movement combined with FPS game play.

Brink will be released on May 17 on Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.

Spider-man Edge of Time Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer to Activision's next Spider-Man game was released yesterday and compared to Shattered Dimensions, it looks like nothing changed in terms of gameplay. Also included are new screenshots in great detail.

I wasn't really impressed with the trailer and I'm also suprised with another Spider-man game that also includes time travel and other Spider-man's from different timelines meeting. In this case, Shattered Dimensions had four different Spider-man's in different timelines but Edge of time will be focusing on only Amazing Spider-man and Spider-man 2099.

Spider-man: Edge of Time is slated for a fall 2011 release on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
