So Duke Nukem Forever got delayed... lol

Hilarious news, it has been announced that Duke Nukem Forever will not make its intended release date of May 3. De ja vu anyone? But don't fear, Gearbox is still saying that this is a real game and not some kind of decade long troll. The date has been moved to June 14 in North Amerca and June 10 for the rest of the world.

To make up for it, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford has given us this hilarious video.

Mortal Kombat kratos gameplay trailer

NetherRealms released a new gameplay trailer of Kratos in action doing what he does best. He looks right at home with blood on his face and the moves that will satisfy any Mortal Kombat fan.

The video shows ton of special moves, Kratos' X-Ray move and  God of War's famous quick-time events which is a good touch.

Kratos will be playable exclusively for the Playstation 3 version of Mortal Kombat when it comes out on April 19, 2011.

Resident Evil Revival Selection

Capcom has announced that a new PS3 and Xbox 360 title called Resident Evil Revival Selection for Japan. It is a compilation disc containing HD remasters of both Resident Evil 4 which will also include Ada Wong's "Another Order" mode and Resident Evil: Code Verinoca (Director's Cut). As of right now there is no news of a US release and the release date for Japan has yet to be announced. I think Capcom is aware of Resident Evil's success in North America and I'm sure they will release the Revival Selection disc soon. But wait, isn't Resident Evil called "Biohazard" in Japan? Hmmmmm...

"Pose for the family picture"

With the new Mortal Kombat game just around the corner I'm sure you've all thought "is this a reboot?" or "is it a sequel"? Well it's kind of both. If you can't make sense of that then thank the elder gods that IGN has come up with a short video summarizing the stories of all previous Mortal Kombat games leading up to this point.

Basically it IS a reboot and it IS canon. FIGHT!

River City Ransom 2 in the works

One of the all-time classics, especially in the beat-em-up genre, River City Ransom is getting a long belated sequel. 20 years in the making, River City Ransom 2 is being developed by Miracle Kidz, the studio which houses most of the original’s developers. The game is expected to release on console sometime this summer in Japan, with a PC release coming next year. No word yet on any game details or specific consoles, but another of Miracle Kidz retro-style games (Downtown Smash Dodgeball) is on the Xbox Live Arcade and Wii Ware, leading most to believe such platforms are equally likely for River City Ransom 2.
