Guild Wars 2 Lost Shores event schedule

Guild Wars 2's Halloween event was a success, now Arenanet keeps the free content going with Lost Shores. This would be the next major update to Guild Wars 2 and will include a major event that would only happen once, literally once. So to make sure we all don't miss it, Arenanet posted the schedule for when these events will take place.

On Friday November 16th at noon PST (20:00 GMT) the weekend will kick off with an Event in Lion’s Arch that you don’t want to miss. This will trigger events in other parts of Tyria as well. *On Saturday November 17th at noon PST (20:00 GMT), another phase will kick in. Each phase is triggered by a special event, but you will be able to enjoy additional content afterwards even if you cannot make the kick-off time. There is one exception:

The event will culminate in a big Finale on Sunday November 18, make sure you will not miss it. This will be a onetime only event chain that will run multiple hours, and it will kick off at noon PST (20:00 GMT). Again, this will only run once, so make sure you will be there! There will be plenty of content available to enjoy that will remain permanently in the world as a result of the outcome of this event on Sunday.

Not much details on this one time  event but Arenanet was kind enough to give us players a heads up.

MMORPG.com got a chance to interview Colin Johanson, one of the developers of Guild Wars 2 to get some insight on the upcoming event like a new 5-man dungeon and a new PVP map. Check it out below.

I appreciate the fact that Arenanet is trying to evolve the world of Tyria as much as they can every month. During the Halloween event, the major event destroyed a big statue at the middle of Lion's Arch (One of the main cities in Tyria), and thanks to that event, the statue is gone for good. The statue was nothing important, but its good to see that these major world events does make an impact in the world, which makes me excited to how this next major event will affect the world.

With the schedule given, the first phase will happen on Saturday, at 4am for me(GMT +8). Not sure if I'll make it, but I'll definitely try.

Next DLC for Skyrim is Dragonborn

Well, that little teaser from Bethesda is indeed a new DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and it's called Dragonborn. It seems like this DLC is focused on the history of the Dragonborns, and the picture above is apparently the first dragonborn. Oh, and dragon mounts! Check the trailer below.

The Dragonborn DLC will cost you 1600 MS point (20$) and will be available in Xbox Live on December 4. Just like past DLC's, the Xbox 360 gets first dibs on the content, no info yet when it will be released in other platforms.

Hitman Absolution - Living, Breathing World Trailer

With Assassin's Creed 3 now out, it's time to give attention the assassin that came even before  Altair. Hitman Absolution's latest trailer focuses on the rich environment that the players will experience. Life goes on in the world of Absolution, and Agent 47 can take advantage of the events that goes around him.

Hitman: Absolution hits stores on November 20 on Playstation3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Playstation Store redesigned, live right now

Just in case you didn't notice, the PS Store just got a major redesign update. I tried out the new layout and I like the new look. I never had an issue with the old design, but then again, they had that layout since the release of the online store. Guess the change was long overdue.

I've been tinkering it for quite a while now and it's definitely easier to navigate compared to the old one. Everything is neatly organized. They have also separated PS Vita and PSP content from PS3 content which is a big plus for me.

The search engine has been changed. When I was first playing around with it, I actually didn't get it at first, but as I got used to it, it was pretty easy to search through the store. What it does is when you enter the second letter in the search, the engine searches for all the possible content that start with the first two letters you added. As you add more letters, it eliminates the other letters that won't lead to any content on the store, leaving fewer letters to choose from but eventually getting closer to the content you are looking for, if it's there that is.

It looks like an entertainment for not only games but for music movies and apps, which I'm sure is what Sony was aiming for.

Give it a try right now and let us know what you think.

Bethesda teases fans with just a tweet

Bethesda announced today that a full trailer is coming on November 5.  This tease was tweeted by Bethesda that came withe picture above, and its pretty much anybody's guess to what this is. I'll put my money on a new Skyrim DLC though since it was recently rumored that dragon mount asset files were found on the latest Skyrim patch. That, and I highly doubt Bethesda is nowhere near done releasing DLC for Skyrim. What do you guys think?
