Far Cry 3 trailers that introduces us to a few characters

Ubisoft's latest trailers for Far Cry 3 introduces us to a few characters we'll encounter in the wild. Vaas, we all know how crazy Vaas is, Buck seems to be another psychopath,  Citra is the leader of a tribe while Dennis, well Dennis seems to know a lot about the island you're trapped in. Check out the trailers below.

The Tribe: Citra and Dennis

The Savages: Vaas and Buck

I have pretty low expectations for the third Far Cry title thanks to my experience with Far Cry 2.  But good thing the characters for the third is proving to be something to check out.

Far Cry 3 hits the UK first on November 30 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, while the US gets the game a few days later on December 4.

Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC gets released a week early

Borderlands 2 DLC Gearbox Software just announced today that the DLC character Mechromancer is coming a week earlier. Since the DLC was planned for an October 16 release, that means the DLC will be released today on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford tweeted the news today. He also added that the content will be available at the end of the day.

People who pre-order Borderlands 2 gets Gaige the Mechromancer for free, while players that didn't, will need to cough up $9.99, or 800 MS points.

The Mechromancer is the first DLC for Borderlands 2, and its possible that more DLC characters would follow in the future.

If you want to prepare for the Mechromancer, Gaige's skill tree calculator is up on Gearbox Software's official site for you to tamper with.

The Walking Dead Episode 4 "Around Every Corner" released date announced

The Walking Dead Game Telltale today just announced that the next episode of The Walking Dead Game will be released in a few days. Episode 4 "Around Every Corner" will be available for download on October 9 in PSN (US Store), Oct 10 on XBLA, and PC/MAC.

The release date of episode 4 was Tweeted by Telltale Games. Funny how Telltale gives us just a few days notice, but then again its a good thing, why am I complaining?

Just in case you missed it, here's the trailer for episode 4 to brush up on whats happened so far.Friendly reminder, the trailer contains Minor spoilers for the folks that have not played the first three episodes. I suggest you pick up the first three before having a peek.

Telltale Games also announced a few weeks ago that the complete season 1 of The Walking Dead Game will be released as a full game. If you plan on picking the complete set, I suggest you wait for that.

Zombies mode MIA in Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified

Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified When you think Call of Duty: Black Ops, you think Call of Duty plus some zombies to kill. Well, the first Call of Duty title for the PS Vita, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified, will not have Zombies mode. The reason? For the developers to focus on the game's "core strengths".

These core strengths are of course the game's singleplayer and multiplayer. Activision rep Dan Amrich confirmed that Zombies mode will not be included to prioritize on the game's single player and multiplayer features. "This is the first Call of Duty game on Vita, and it needs to deliver on its core strengths - arguably, multiplayer gaming with twin-stick controls in a portable format," said Amrich.

For me, Black Ops won't be Black Ops without Zombies mode. But even with them stating that zombies has been removed to focus on more important features, they announce that Declassified will include a new mode called Hostiles Mode, which is you defeating waves of enemies.

But it looks like the game's developer, Nihilistic Software, would love to add it into the game. In a report coming from IGN, a Tweet from the developer says that "Only Activision and Sony have the power to greenlight Zombies mode for CoD Vita".

Still worth the buy now that Zombies mode won't make an appearance?
