Weekend, what are you playing?

It's mid-May and the wave of releases has slowed down a bit. The J months are all about announcements so it's the perfect time to start catching up on your gaming back log. What will you be playing?

Migoy: I still got The Amazing Spider-Man to finish before returning the disc to it's rightful owner and online ranked in Persona 4 Arena seems to be populated for the summer with what I played of it earlier this week. There are also some Injustice: Gods Among Us casuals happening this weekend at Infinity Place Video Gaming Center which I plan on attending. Social link go!

Carlos: Bought myself Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen just yesterday for my Xbox 360 and I'm pretty excited to start all over with the new content. I bought and played this game to the end when it came out last year and I couldn't pass the extra content Dark Arisen was bringing. With my PS3 dead, my first copy is pretty much useless until I get a new console, so I decided to just get Dark Arisen for my 360. It was only P1,200 at Datablitz so it didn't hurt much buying it again just for extra content.

I just started and I'm already planning builds for my playthrough. If you haven't tried Dragon's Dogma and want a good RPG, I highly suggest you give this one a shot.

Injustice: Gods Around Us Scorpion DLC Early Access

So I was lucky enough to get early access to Scorpion in Injustice: Gods Around Us. I show off some of Scorpion's moves here as well as the new patch changes in version 1.37.

Injustice: Gods Among Us - Batman 40% 1-Meter Combos

Here's a little combo video that I threw together after I got the 1.02 update for Injustice: Gods Among Us and went to check out the Flashpoint Batman costume that came with it. Figured out some 40-or so-% combos using one bar, no interactables, while messing around in training mode. And yes, I cheated. The last combo uses 2 bars of meter.

Weekend, what are you playing?

What is up, everyone? Here we are, in the first weekend of May. The game releases have slowed down a bit a per the season. But that won't stop us from playing the video games. So, what are you playing? Migoy: Me and Quash did a Let's Play of Injustice: Gods Among Us with PCGMedia's Justis earlier this week. So after getting to play against real people in Injustice for the first time, I need to hit training mode and learn a few new characters and refine the current ones I know how to use. I've also recently started The Amazing Spider-Man on the PS3. To be honest, I prefer the less appreciated Spider-Man: Web of Shadows because I honestly think that the combat and web swinging in that game is much better but Amazing Spider-Man is a pretty good game. At least compared to the other Beenox Spider-Man games that came out prior to it.
