Not a lot of horror games were played by us this month, especially with big events such as ESGS 2015 just wrapping up but we were able to sneak in a Let's Play with Migs from the Nubs in Cubes. Aside from the Until Dawn let's play thats currently going on. Here's a look at the first Clock Tower game that came out on the Super Famicom way back in 1995. An old point and click style horror mystery during the 16bit era. New episodes of this will go up everyday until Halloween.
Painfully Free is back for another episode. This month, we play one of my old favorites. Capcom VS SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001. This game is great because of the abundance of characters from various fighting games of two rival game companies known for being kings of the 2D fighting game scene back in the day. It controls very feel and is unique by including 6 different power gauges from key fighting games from each company. Will dropping the knowledge bomb on the SNK side which helps since Migoy and Carlos are a bit unfamiliar with them.
Divinity: Original Sin hits consoles this October with an Enhanced Edition adding couch and online co-op, making this a very appealing RPG for those looking to play it with a friend. The most interesting part of Divinity's local co-op is the ability to split the screen once the two players decide to split up. Each player gets a part of the screen, making players do their own thing individually. Oh, and you can argue in-game on what do to in those big decisions.
Big RPG titles with couch co-op feature is a rare site these days and with Divinity's unique gameplay, there will be tons of hilarious stories ahead for those that plan to tackle this adventure with a friend. Hopefully this will come out as a trend for future titles? Let's hope so.
Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition will hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October.
Metal Gear Solid V is full of crazy little tidbits and Easter eggs. One of which is that during any of the Extract the Wandering Mother Base Soldier side ops, if the soldier sees you wearing a cardboard box, he will recognize Big Boss and salute, allowing you to fulton him on the spot. This is just one of many crazy things found in MGSV. We also came across a few bugs while messing around in both The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes these past few days.
It's been a while but we're back with another episode of Painfully Free! The fighting game show featuring the best players around the room. This time, we take a look at the localized doujin game, Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm.
