Although his new role at Naughty Dog comes with new responsibilities, the company confirmed that Druckmann will continue his responsibilities as creative director for The Last of Us Part II

Together with Druckmann's promotion, a few other people have taken on new responsibilities at the company. Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau are now joint game directors for The Last of Us Part II. Both Newman and Margenau have been at the company since Uncharted 2's development cycle, leading the design department at the company. Emilia Schatz and Richard Cambier will take over Newman and Margenau's positions as lead designers.
