The Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster Expands With The Inclusion Of Androids

At Gamescom 2017, Bandai Namco, together with the developer System Arc Works, reveals a new trailer announcing a few characters joining this crazy 3v3 fighting game based on the popular anime Dragon Ball Z. Android 16 joins the fight together with Android 18 and 17 mixed into one playable character.

Krillin also joins the fight and he's no slouch it seems. Piccolo is included and it seems he can close the gap rather quickly with his extendable arms.

The big surprise is at the end of the trailer when we are given a glimpse at the game's story mode. here's the official blurp by Namco:

"With the resurrection of Android 16 and the invasion of the mysterious army corps, the super warriors start to fall. What is happening?! "

The last character announcement was the reveal of future Trunks, which was debuted during Evo 2017. Dragon Ball FighterZ is planned for a February 2018 release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

If you are the lucky bunch included in the closed beta planned on September 16 and 17, there will be 11 playable characters during that time: SS Goku, SS Vegeta, SS Teen Goku, Cell, Majin Buu, Frieza, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18 and Android 16.
