Super Street Fighter 4's top 8 really shows how diverse the community has become. Not only do we have eight different characters, we also have a wide variety of players from different countries on the top 8. GamerBee from Taiwan, Poongko and Infiltration from Korea, Xiaohai from China, HumanBomb from Hong Kong/Australia, Dieminion and PR Balrog from USA, and of course Daigo representing Japan.

Biggest upset during the tournament has to be EG's Justin Wong and EVO 2011's Super Street Fighter 4 champion Fuudo not even making it to top 8 this year.

The Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition Ver. 2012 tournament will continue day three to see who takes the crown. Day two(Tomorrow) of EVO 2012 will be the start of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 pools, and the continuation of King of Fighters XIII and Mortal Kombat 9 brackets. All top 8 matches in all games are scheduled for day three.
